MM School is honoured to host the CBSE Girls’ Football Tournament – South Zone 1 from
August 7th to 10th, 2025, bringing together teams from across the southern region to compete,
connect, and celebrate the power of girls in sports.
This tournament is more than a competition — it is a bold step toward gender equality,
empowerment, and leadership through athletic excellence. At MM School, we believe in
creating equal opportunities where every girl can dream big, play hard, and rise with confidence.

6. Deadline: Submit by July 20, 2025
1. All matches will follow the All India Football Federation (AIFF) rules, with necessary modifications where applicable.
2. Each team may register a maximum of 16 players. Proper football kit is mandatory for participation.
3. The tournament is open to teams from South Zone – 1 (Cluster VI & VII), Chennai and Vijayawada Regions.
4. Match duration will be 35–10–35 minutes (two halves of 35 minutes with a 10-minute break).
5. Up to 7 substitutions are allowed per game.
6. The tournament will be conducted on a knockout basis. Fixtures will be drawn by lots.
7. In the event of a draw, the winner will be decided via penalty shootout.
8. The referee will choose the goal for penalty kicks.
9. If both teams are level after five penalties, the shootout will continue with alternate kicks until one team scores more from the same number of attempts.
10. Only players present on the field at the end of regular or extra time are eligible to take penalty kicks.
11. Winners from each age group will qualify for the Nationals CBSE Girls’ Football Tournament.
12. No team will be required to play more than three matches per day. A minimum gap of three hours will be maintained between two matches.
13. Teams must bring their own footballs for warm-up. Match balls will be provided by the organizers.
14. Teams must report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of their match.
15. Fixture draw will take place on 6th June 2025 at 4:00 PM. All team managers/coaches are required to attend.
16. All participating teams must report to MM School campus by 4:00 PM on 6th June 2025. Schools failing to meet this deadline will not be included in the tournament draw.
